Commerce Department organizes Aarambh

The undergraduate Commerce Department of St Joseph’s College (Autonomous) organised the third edition of Aarambh — its annual fest — on Thursday, November 29. The air was filled with fun, frolic and enthusiasm while participants battled it out in events like “best manager,” “marketing” and other exciting events.

At least a half-dozen students from three other colleges participated in the events. “Real-life scenarios is what this fest aims at providing, which will prepare you for the real Wall Street experience,” said Modassar Irfat, founder and director of NorthStar Academy (NSA), who was the chief guest on the occasion.

The participants were upbeat about in taking part for the fest. “This is my very first commerce fest and I have a research paper that I am stoked to present, and hope to secure a win,” said a student from CMR PU college. Students from St Joseph’s Boys High School told the Beacon “Where’s the fun without a challenge?”
