Fashionistas clad in bright colours, high stilettos,
beautiful hairstyles combined with the right attitude walked the SJC ramp on Thursday
near the hostel corridor. The fashion show audition organised by the college
Council saw thirteen female and eight male participants from the undergraduate
and post graduate section.
The main focus of the fashion show audition is to
select six elegant girls and four hunky boys to be a part of the Deccan Herald
Metro life fashion show to be held in September 2012. The audition was judged
by Johnson Rajkumar and Govind Menon, lecturers of the Mass communication
Aditi D’souza, the Vice president of SJC, said, “We
held the fashion show audition to select the best girls and boys who will
represent the college for the Deccan Herald fashion show.”
She further added to say that the selected team will
be taking part in different cultural functions to be held in the campus in
“I was really nervous but once I hit the ramp, I
felt confident and it was a great experience. I hope the best girl gets
selected” said Arunapati of I EPS, a participant.
The team of 10 finalists would also have substitutes.

that the results for the audition will be evaluated soon and the results
