SEMINARS / WEBINARS ORGANISED :
  • Organized a one day National Seminar on ‘Decline of Social Sciences ‘A Trend or a Myth’, in association with Department of Humanities, St. Joseph’s Evening College, on March 20th 2017.

  • The Department in collaboration with the PANA (Philatelists and Numismatics Association) of SJC and The Center of Indian Numismatic Studies organized a National Level Webinar on 3 rd July 2020, titled 'Assimilation and Assertion- A Numismatic History of Foreign Rule in India’. The resource persons were Mr. Purnanand Sanket, Mr. Mohit Kapoor, Founder Trustees of Centre of Indian Numismatic Studies. Mr. Mohit is also the Director of Imperial Auctions, licensed by ASI and Mr. Gautam Jantakal, Numismatic Consultant with the Center of Indian Numismatic Studies.

  • A National Level Webinar was organized in collaboration with Destination Heritage on 9 th August 2020, titled 'Scripted Stones'. The resource persons were Dr. T S Ravishankar, Retired Director (Epigraphy), ASI, Mysore and Dr. Krishnaswamy S, Assistant Epigraphist in Epigraphy Branch, Archaeological Survey of India, Mysore.

  • A National Level Webinar on Ancient Board Games was organized in collaboration with Destination Heritage on 18 th August 2020, titled ‘Art of Play’. The resource persons were Mr. R Gyaneshwar Singh, Honorary Secretary of the Ramsons Kala Pratishtana (RKP), a family trust which deals with research, training, design, development and conservation centre for art and craft forms and Ms. Riddhi Joshi, a Post Graduate Student of History from the University of Mumbai.

  • Organized a one day Workshop on Ancient Indian Scripts (A Study of Brahmi Script) in association with Centre of Indian Numismatic Studies on 2nd March 2019.

  • Organized a one day Workshop on ‘Story Telling - Where Ideas Nourish’ in association with Destination Heritage on 7th September 2019.
