IGNITORS ends with a retreat

The last day of IGNITORS ended with a meaningful retreat for the post-graduate Catholic students in Xavier Hall in St. Joseph’s College. The first session was on ‘Rejection’ and it was explained through a series of Imperial Blue advertisements and the life of Marilyn Monroe. Fr. Antic said, “Rejection is a painful experience. But we should be glad that we have a God who turns our mourning into dancing.”

The afternoon session was led by Fr. Christopher Louis, a Redemptorist who spoke about, ‘Love’ and ‘Brokenness’. He said, “Brokenness comes in different ways, and it keeps shattering our lives. Today the world is running towards insensitiveness. Sin has become part and parcel of one’s life.” He urged the students to find peace within themselves and also among the peers. IGNITORS concluded with a Eucharistic Celebration.
