ULF back with internships

Udhyam Learning Foundation (ULF), a non-profit organisation based in Bangalore conducted its second recruit in the campus on Tuesday. The hiring was aimed to provide students with an opportunity to give back to the society through a summer internship with the organisation. “We are still on the lookout for people to implement 40 programmes. We have hired 16 people from the psychology department as of now alongside english and commerce. We are here to align on dates for the students because for some departments the exams get over on 28th April and our program starts on 15th” said Shivangi Gandhi, an organiser of ULF.

The organisation tends to serve its motto of helping people develop team work, life skills, creativity, problem solving, communication and much more.

“Our friends had come for the first round of interview. They gave us a positive view on how the programme is and how it is going to help others. We were basically curious and we wanted to do our bit as well”, said Rohit R, a student of I EJP.

“With the elections coming by, the exam dates might get altered which in turn works in our favour as the students are free during the middle week of April”, added Shivangi. The internship programmes are to be held from the month of April to May this year. ULF was founded by Mekin Maheshwari, ex-Chief People Officer of Flipkart.
