Sigma Squared

The Sigma Squared Association, established in 2016, by the first batch of the Department of Big Data Analytics, continues to grow strong every passing year. The name - Sigma Squared, only fits perfectly as every bit of data science is related to statistics. This association aims to create a community where data enthusiasts can come together and grow as a community. The field of Big Data is one with high demand and is still emerging to its full form. With strong support from faculties and fellow students, the founding members have created a strong community that helps everyone grow.

The association creates countless opportunities for the students to get acquainted with the industry and get hands-on experience with professionalism and how the industry works. Events like datagram, Adda, lectures and sessions delivered by the industry professionals are organised to help the students grow. The Sigma Squared association aims to prepare students that are industry-ready when they graduate from the Big Data Analytics department. Every year, events form the association bring together multiple colleges and students for fun activities, games, and sessions with established individuals.
