The hostel block building, a semi circular -crescent-shaped stone building, built in 1948 is a remarkable specimen of architecture. The semi-circular building, as distinctive in its architecture as the other College buildings, had a hundred and twenty single rooms and four large halls, one of which is a prayer hall. Two of these halls were later converted into cubicles, thus augmenting the available accommodation to a hundred and eighty. Currently, the hostel can house 118 students only.

A unique initiative: Canteen committee:
Formation of head, heart and hands is what we the hostel inmates are known for. In order to make the boys to avail some real time marketing and management experience a food committee is formed to take care of the daily canteen operations. They regulate the monthly purchases of ration and other food items. They form groups within the committee each with individual responsibility and carry out the job meticulously and with transparency.
