Functions of IQAC
Functions OF IQAC according to NAAC at st Josephs College
  • Constantly developing and applying benchmarks/parameters of quality for various academic and administrative activities of the institution which is done by SWOT analysis and departmental review meetings

  • Facilitating the creation of a learner centric environment conducive to quality education which is done by BOS meetings in all the departments, which is mainly to adopt the required knowledge for participatory teaching and learning process

  • Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality related institutional processes for which separate mechanisms have been created in each block feedback boxes are installed so that the response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality can be availed by IQAC and also the mail id has been created so that the stake holders can pour in their suggestions, and the mail id being

  • Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education which is going to be done by circulating news letter of IQAC for each of the semesters

  • Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles which is done by holding quality benchmarking workshops / and personal visits across different institutions to study the best practices

  • Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement. This is done by specially created documentation center of the college
